Be Part of the Next Chapter

The Banner of Truth Trust is embarking on a new chapter. The current head office and warehouse facilities in Edinburgh, Scotland, can no longer support the Trust’s activities. This website provides information on our plans to build a modern facility which will enable the Trust to continue to serve present and future generations of Christians.

At this pivotal moment of growth, we need visionary partners to help us build for the future.

We have some funds in hand towards the cost of the project, but we are looking for partners who believe in the mission and impact of the Banner of Truth and can contribute financially to this next chapter. The financial situation can be seen here, and if you wish to be part of the next chapter of the Banner of Truth by making a donation towards the cost of the building project, you can do so here.

In these web pages you will find up-to-date information on the project’s progress and current needs. For those not able to support financially, we would very much appreciate you remembering the progress of the project in your prayers.

Since its foundation in 1957, the ministry of the Banner has impacted thousands of people: ministers, missionaries, and ordinary church members. Lives and churches have been changed and shaped by the books, magazine, and conferences of the Banner of Truth.

After over fifty years in our current premises, we have recognized the need for a new combined office and warehouse that will facilitate the continued growth of the work into the future.

Land has been purchased and a building design has gained planning permission. Detailed design and code approvals are now nearing completion and discussions are ongoing with a potential construction contractor.

Sinclair Ferguson, who has long been associated with the work of the Banner of Truth, here reflects on the impact the Banner has had on his own ministry and that of his contemporaries, and acknowledges the current need for improved facilities:

Sinclair B Ferguson

Ever since, as a teenager, I ‘happened on’ my local library’s copy of C. H. Spurgeon’s The Early Years, books published by the Banner of Truth Trust have been the sound-track of my life. The same is true of friends whose ministries have shaped congregations and in some cases an entire generation. We thank God for prompting, providing for, and blessing the vision of the Trust’s founders Iain Murray and Jack Cullum in the 1950s.

Under the Lord’s hand, the work has grown, and new premises are required to take it forward. Now it falls to our generation to undergird it for the sake of the future. So I warmly commend this project to the prayers and financial support of all fellow Christians.
